Canon IP-2772- The ink cartridge has been installed or replaced

I have a canon IP-2772 Printer. The printer ink has been run out. So I changed the cartridge. When print with the new cartridge then shown the massage, " The ink cartridge has been installed or replaced. If the printout contains misaligned lines or is not satisfactory after the installation or replacement, refer to the user's guide and carry out the print head alignment."  And only print two color 1. Black - BK, 2. Color-C, But not Print 3. Megenda- M and 4. Yellow -Y. How can solve it easily? Anybody  help me Please.

MG2570 printer not printing bottom border

Hi,

 

My Canon MG2570 printer can't print the bottom page lborder of my document. The bottom border is set at 24pt from the end of the page. Not sure why it can't be printed when the top border prints fine.

 

Using Windows 10

Printing on A4 paper

 

Only the bottom border cant be printed all other content can be printed. Thanks!

Ip8720 newbie!! few issues

Hi Folks, 

 

Thanks in advance for any help here. I just bought an ip8720 and have been messing around with it. Gonna bullet point my needs here. 

 

 

  • running MAC OS El Capitan (on a 7 year old Imac) 
  • CD Rom that came with printer is useless, downloaded drivers from net to set up. 
  • Cannot get Lightroom to recognize printer in develop module. It will print but I have no control or options as far as paper settings go. I get no list of Icc profiles. 
  • Having better luck printing from InDesign and letting it manage color. 

Thoughts?

purple haze around images when printing

What could be causing this? I've tried different materials (left is matte presentation paper and right is waterslide decal paper) and different print settings and get the same purple haze on the left side of the printed images. I have a brand new IX6820. I haven't printed a lot on it, but this only happens sometimes. I just printed a test page and it printed fine! But when I go to print the "important" things on the good paper, it doesn't print properly. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?FullSizeRender 4.jpg

I have PIXMA 2522 printer and I use a USB cord to print from my MacBook. It is now saying that the printer is offline and not connected but it is connected and I checked the cords multiple times. I do not have another cord to check it is the cord that is the problem. What should I do?

How to Disconnect from my old wifi

I recently moved to college and to set up with the wifi here I have to have the IP Address. I printer out the network info and it doesnt tell the IP Address, and it says its still connected to my home wifi. How do I fix this?

G2400 not printing Magenta

MP495 won't print

I have 2 MP495 printers, one works perfectly fine. The second printer stopped printing, when I print a windows test page I get only the words Windows Printer Test Page and a plain looking print icon in blue. If I perform a nozzle check I get the 2 blue, 2 red/pink, and 2 yellow, along the side of those I get the 2 bars, with C C M M Y Y in black, but it does not print the black grid nor the BK.  I assumed the cartridges were old so I purchsed new CANON Brand 211XL and 210XL cartridges and installed them. No difference. I've taken them out and re-installed, no change. I've performed cleanings, both regular and deep. There are no lights lit except the green power button, and the number 1 in the display. I hope you can help.

Hi can sombody help . I have bought for the second time canon MG2950S printer and the same thing happening

paper crunching up and not feeding through my computer saying paper jammed but no paper to be seen

ive tried turning off my printer and unplugging it but the same thing happens i cant see any dirt in printer ive only had it a few months and my last one not even a year is this a problem with these printers has any one else had the same problem

Printing image to size

Yesterday everything was fine.  Today it will print any size I like except the one I need.

 

The image was sized in my image program.  I then cropped the image into two sections (same as yesterday) and printed.  Again and again and again and it's pretty much the same thing over again.

 

I need a 7 inch length print of the first part and it keeps giving me 7.5"

 

I resize and save the image.  7.5"

 

Crop the same as yesterdays image.  8.5"

 

Change the paper size.  6.5/8", 7.5 and 8.5

 

My image viewer shows actual size of image.  Cropping gives me the size I need for printing

 

I size to fit page.  Doesn't work.  Default doesn't work.  Changing paper size doesn't work

 

Printed about 20 times already and nothing is working.  It has to match the image printed yesterday as it's a top and side view to be transfered to a block of wood for cutting out

 

Other choice is take it to a printer and have them print it out for me as I'm just wasting ink andf Canon ink isn't cheap

Pixma MG5420 stopped printing over wifi but will print via USB

I have a Canon Pixma MG5420 it's about 4-5 years old.  it used to print just fine on wifi enabled devices but lately it will only print on the windows desktop connected to the printer via USB.  I have an iPhone 7, an iPad pro 9.7", an iMac, and a windows laptop.  The two iDevices and the iMac see the printer but when I send the job the print cue on the Mac just shows the jobs sitting there and the iPhone and iPad say sending to the printer and it just sits there even if I let it go for several minutes on all of them.  The laptop is brand new not even a year old and it won't even see the printer when I try to add in windows 10 devices.  I tried going to the Canon drivers download site the latest version of the drivers are 2015 and we are almost through 2017.  The software itself says it's unable to install the printer via wifi.

Wrong Printhead error on MG5620

I have been cursed with the dreaded wrong printhead error as hundreds and hundreds of other people. This printer was very very lightly used and was working  totally fine one day then the error comes up. I was burned a few years ago on a Canon printer and I refused to ever purchase a Canon again. After years of going HP I decided to give Canon another go. Bad move! I am yet again cursed with an unfixable error. I am not only out the money spent on the printer but also on all the inks. I am very tech savvy and have tried every single " solution " known to no avail. I see this error has been going on now for over 3 years with very little help from Canon. I am Never ever buying  Canon again. Canon states that if reseating the cartridges and the print head and unplugging it for 10 minutes doesn't fix it that it will have to be sent in for service. This DOES nothing to fix the problem and Canon knows this. This is horrendous customer service.  It would cost more than it is worth and they know this. I am so sick with this error. Surly Canon knows how to correct the issue. Please Canon save face and help us!!! I a, very tech savvy. Just post a how to video or something as to what is causing this problem so we can try to get going again.

Canon mP640

I just changed all the cartridges on the printer.

I've never had any issues with it before, but now when I try to print Word documents, it's

just printing blank pages.

 

It does still print web pages ok.

Baffled as to what the problem is.

Any ideas?

lost materials

We are beginning to set up a Pixma pronter but have lost the set up materials and have no idea of the model number.  The serial number is (Removed per forum guidelines).  how can I follow that number backward to get the exact model number?  Thanks for any help.

Quick Menu

The canon quick menu app on my IMac (Sierra) does not recognize the folders that I created to store my images.

 

i have tried all of the obvious but none of these personal folders appear.

 

Is there something I can do to use quick menu with my folders.

Problems Getting New MX920 to Work

Oh where to begin.

 

The printer appears twice in the dropdown menu. Sometimes a black icon opens in the dock. When that happens, it seems to want to print with the printer cable plugged in. Otherwise I get a "Printer not connected" message. Other times I get a gray icon, which seems to signify wireless printing. 

 

How do I tell the difference in the rolldown menu?

 

Default settings when printing from Chrome are for 4 x 6 or A4 paper, which took a while to figure out why I was getting an upper tray error message. This is annoying if it has to be reset every time.

 

And when wireless printing starts it does not always finish the job. 

 

Let's start with these issues.

Print directly to disc

Hi

I have a Pixma MG6250 and I'm having difficulties printing directly onto a CD  I have checked the settings, tried leaving the size, as A4, and also tried setting to Disc tray G, left the source as automatic and the software I'm using is Ronyasoft, which is the latest version, they say they can't really help as it's a settings issue, I also sent an enquiry direct to Canon suport over week ago, just a holding mail back so far.

 

My system is Win 10, again up to date, 64bit, 8MB ram and an AMD 6300 processor.  I have tried using the software that Canon provides but on a 4K monitor, the default resolution makes the text size miniscule - something else I asked Canon to advise on.  

 

The procedur appears to go as it should through the selection process until I actually select print, the it always defaults to paper (which I removed from the lower cassette and the rear tray) before trying to print to the CD.

 

Any suggestions please - clean one's I mean
