MP495 E14 Error

Hello,

I bought and successfully used the MP495 printer in the US using the 210 black ink cartridge.  I moved to France and have been using it here.  That is until I ran out of ink.  So I bought the 510 ink cartidge which is also supposed to be compatible with the printer.  When I install it, the alarm indicator turns orange and the error "E14" scrolls acoss the screen. How do I clear this error code?
